Beltways is on a mission to build the world’s smartest, safest, and fastest form of short-range accelerators. The modular, above-ground walkways can move people at up to 10 mph, using IoT monitoring, smart sensors, and energy-saving features to deliver sustainable, scalable, and efficient mobility infrastructure.

Beltways OS empowers the Belways through providing centralized monitoring, control, and management for the beltways systems. The platform offers comprehensive oversight of system performance, passenger safety, equipment health, and operational efficiency through an intuitive web-based interface.

In Fall 2025, I joined Beltways as a UX/UI Design Intern, collaborating closely with the Chief of Staff to envision the next-generation OS system. Leveraging my hybrid background in industrial design and AI, I contributed to both the OS design and the prototype’s industrial design, while experimenting with AI-driven approaches to accelerate early product development.
Key Responsibilities:
Designed end-to-end workflows for Beltway OS 2.0, including information architecture, user flows, interaction patterns, and interface design.
Maintained and evolved the Beltway OS design system, improving its compatibility with V0 (AI prototyping tool) to accelerate development speed.
Communicated with developers to align on the tech stack and streamline design-to-development handoff through shared processes and standards.
Documented design files and articulated design principles, creating high-quality datasets for AI-assisted tasks such as hierarchy design, navigation, UX writing, and design review.
Prototyped concepts using AI-powered tools(V0) to visualize ideas, support team evaluation, and enable rapid iteration cycles.
Assisted in industrial design of the prototype, ensuring a consistent design language between hardware and software experiences.
